Quick and sufficient House cleaner.. Any tips?

loving my

I just got my first REAL cleaning job.. I love to clean and all, I clean my own house all the time.. and I do a really good job.. I'm just thinking of, what will be the best way to clean someone elses BIG house, and what are good products to use?

Obviously I dont want to be there all day.. 3-4 hours sounds right.

I'm buying my own products to use, so feel free to recommend stuff!
I'm doing ALL The basics, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the kitchen.. floors, bathrooms.. Cat litter. Windows.. Ect!

I'm thinking those Lysol wipes would be GREAT! to wipe down the bathroom, also kitchen appliances.

I also think Febreeze would be great to spray all the furniture (lightly) and leave a fresh smell in each room. .

Any products to stay away from? I dont want to use bleach! to smelly.. and dangerous in someone else house!

Feel free to give me any tips to do it as as quick and sufficient as possible :-)

Thanks in advance

Answer
Simple Green for like the stove and tough stains ..

Lysol 4 in 1 cleaner is great for all areas , it kills germs , gets rid of tough grease and soap scum , I use it to clean everything in my house and the purple ''lavender'' leaves the house smelling great . and I use it to mop with as well .

Pledge Multi surface , is great to have for furniture and windows , So that you do not have to hav so many different things . You can find cleaners that are good for many different things such as they Lysol 4 in 1 cleaner , and the Pledge multi surface cleaners .

I wish you Good Luck .

How do u clean real old wood flooring and new laminate wood flooring?

victoria

I just rented old house. The main part of the house has the original wood floors. Landlords added rooms and put in laminate wood floors. I was told in the past not to use mop & glow on these types of floors. The floors are shiny now and I don't want to ruin them. IS mop & glow okay for both floors? An aquitance said yes just yesterday but I want to be sure.

Answer
no do not use those on either floor...they have a ton of products that make mopping look fun but swefter sweepers and mop and glow are not what either floor needs...and is a waste of money

you need a dust mop and a can of endust for the real wood Floors...

you need a good vacuum...

you need a micro fiber mop for the pergo...get the mr clean micro fiber mop from target...no cleaner for it

no wetness on either floor...

vacuum..

spray the endust on the dust mop...no moisture it ruins both floors...and just light wetness...water on the micro fiber mop...

it is the moisture and water that ruins both floors...although women are sold on all the quick mop liquids...they usually leave a film and ruin the floor in the long run

so listen to the landlord

keep it simple

do not use the endust mop on pergo it will make it too slick...

happy mopping
