i have really cheap carpet, and my current vacuum picks up little shreds of this carpet, and then spits it right back out in chunks on the floor. I need the best thing for my money.. ideas?

Can someone recommend a vacuum cleaner that is good on linoleum and carpet? Preferably, an affordable one.
Please give an exact brand and model type if possible. Also my price range is up to $200.

i can tell you this much dont get cheap ones they are very not good i bought one that was for sale in target for 35 reg. price was 39.99 and it was not good it only worked the first time than the sec. time it didnt have suction as good.the brand is eureka. so id say go for the one that is not the cheapest but not the priciest one either. go between those prices and save the box and rec. just in case
