best vacuum cleaner reviews for pet hair image
Where's my
I don't mean a dustbuster, but mini version of a vacuum cleaner.
I just want one that can do small jobs, when I don't want to drag out the big and heavy vacuum cleaner.
I have read a lot of reviews and I'm just nervous about wasting my money on something that will end up being useless a month later.
Anyone have experience in which ones they like better?

If you're only using it to clean up little spills of cereal, crumbs and perhaps give a hard surface floor a quick clean up, most any of them will be fine. Do not expect a lot of suction. Smaller units don't have a large enough motor to create much.
I've had several over the years and the one thing that the smaller units do that drives me nuts is their stupid little tiny (and hard to clean out) dirt collectors! Don't get anything that isn't easy to clean out or you won't use it or clean it out as you should.
And if you have pets and pet hair is an issue, easy clean out is a must! Most of these small units just ball up pet hair in the inside and it's reach in and pull the stuff out. You spend more time cleaning out the little unit than it would take to get the bigger one out.
Much depends on how you're going to use it. Look for the largest motor you can get and the neatest, easiest clean out "system". I'd buy it from a store that has a generous return policy; that way you can use it a week or so and if you don't like it, you can take it back.
