best vacuum cleaner below 100 image

I have gone through three vacuum cleaners in the last 6 months because I vacuum all the time(3 children and one dog).
I really want a vacuum that sucks up the dirt well as well as pet hair and can clean the stairs well.

I also work for a vacuum shop, and I would agree with the other person above about not going bagless. The hair will definitly clog the filters faster and makes for a real dirty mess. I honestly think it will be hard to find a good quality vacuum in that price range that will last. All vacuums are stong and pick up at first. The Dyson is horrible, simply put. Very heavy, clog often and noone wants to repair them. The Dirt Devil company has made better vacuums as of late, but I would would recommend a Sanitaire vacuum which will give you more longevity and eventually you will want to get a canister. Sanitaire vacuums are made for commercal use, but can be used in residential settings and are very strong and just above your price range. I have had enough with the airplane. It's too complicated. It has 100 hours inspection. It has annual inspection. It has one time AD. It has recurrent AD. I have to preflight it each time. I have to do run up each time. I want a flying carpet.

Flying carpets also require training and certification. Hours and hours of training, which include being able to stay on it when you make a sharp turn, and learning the controls, which are pretty hard to learn, since they are mental. If you take your mind off of flying for a second, the carpet goes into a spin, and of course, you fall off.
For that very reason, flying carpet insurance is very high, which is another factor that has to be considered when taking flying carpet lessons.
Note: Some of the newer flying carpets have safety features such as lap belts and computer controlled flying, although the oncarpet computer is still mind controlled.
And the larger ones come with stewardesses (flight attendants) but that job is very risky. The percentage of attendants that survive a flight is 0%, since one is lost every flight.
Onboard meals used to be allowed, but the cost of cleaning the carpet everytime after it landed, was just to expensive. In fact, eating a meal within 18 hours of flight, is now considered a no no. Carpets are just not as smooth sailing as a plane, and air sickness is very high. (Plus, there is the mess that falls on to the people below, on the ground, that has to be considered.)
Onboard carpet cleaning is hazardous, what with the vacuum cleaners falling off on sharp turns, while the carpet is being cleaned, beside also being yanked off the carpet when the extension cord reaches its limit. People and cows have been killed by falling vacuum cleaners.
Recently, OSHA has set standard now that require all carpets be cleaned while on ground. This helps in allowing for shorter extension cords, because the cords that are ten miles or more in length, tend to get caught on fences and trees, while the carpet is in the air.
What really bugs me, are the carpet beetles. I lost an uncle through a hole in my carpet, that had occured during flight, because of those stupid beetles having their lunch. Of course, my aunt was thrilled. She didn't like him at all. Since then, some of my friends who don't get along with their spouse, have been asking me to take their spouse on a flight.
But for those still interested:
