What is the best vacuum cleaner to purchase.?

I am looking for an upright vacuum cleaner that has cleaning ability, good suction power to vacuum up cat hair, cat litter, dust, food crumbs, etc. I am willing to spend between 250.00 to $300.00 for one.

Can a spider survive the air suction of a vacuum cleaner after i sucken him up w/it?

Once i see a spider in my house i usually suck him up with the vacuum cleaner. Can they actually survive the suction of the fierce air and crawl out? It's an hoover upright 12amp vacuum cleaner.

A spider might survive, especially if you didn't vacuum much more after sucking it up. And if it does survive, it could crawl back out, though it's unlikely that it would figure out how.
