Mama To 3
I was cooking dinner tonight and my children decided to dump baby powder all over my living room. I've swept, vacuumed and used my steam mop, yet it's not cleaning 100%.
HELP!
Answer
Vacuum up as much as you can, then use a carpet cleaner to remove what's left. Hoover and Rug Doctor make excellent machines or you could rent a carpet cleaner from the grocery store or rental company.

Vacuuming with baby kittens?
XoxKayy
My kittens are about 2 weeks old, their eyes are open and their ears are just about open aswell. I tried moving them a couple times but the mother just brings them right back into my room. I really need to vacuum but im scared the kittens will freak out or something. what should i do? Im having company over and i NEED to clean my room.
Answer
Clean your room (dusting, putting things away, etc.) with kittens in their normal den. If you use anything with a lot of odor (furniture polish, bleach), make sure there is an open window. Then put the kittens in a box in another room (bathroom, etc.) and SHUT THE DOOR. Mama cat can be either in or out, her preference (though if she's in, make sure her litter box is there too). Vacuum your room (takes what, maybe 5 minutes?) Open door, return kittens to their "den".
